How to persuade your parents to get a Hamster ?

As some of u were asking
"My parent don't allow me to keep hamster, what should i do?"

Here are my two cents. Firstly, do not cry, if that works then good for you. Else, talk to your parents sincerely and ask for the reason why you can't have a hamster. They should be willing to tell you, and I have some tips for you to answer to your parent's concerns or excuses.

Hamsters are smelly
Good quality odor-control beddings for hamster are affordable (such as Healthy Pet Odor Control Pet Bedding). You just need to change the bedding weekly if only one or two hamsters in a cage.

Hamsters make noise
Hamsters are nocturnal, they like to run on the hamster wheel at night. If the wheel is noisy, you can lubricate the wheel with cooking oil. If you still hear the noise, then move the hamster cage to the other room when you are sleeping.

Hamsters are dirty
Hamsters gloom themselves and they only urine at one particular corner in the cage, usually far away from where they sleep. They are clean and tidy little cuties.

You get sick from handling hamsters
No disease is known to be spread by hamsters to human. However, if you have a cold, try not to spread it to your hamster. Your hamster they can catch a cold or chill just like us.

You have no time to take care of hamsters
Hamsters only active in early morning, evening and night. When you are busy working or studying in the day time, hamsters are sleeping. Spending an hour a day to pet your hamster can help you release stress too. No hamster-walk required.

Hamsters are rats, why you wanna keep them
Excuses me, hamsters and rats are very different... show some of the cutest hamster photos in my blog here, or Cute Overload blog.

This is not only for your parents, it is applicable for your girlfriend, wife, house mate, or anybody else that say no when you really want to have a hamster. However, don't tell them that I taught you about this.
